In addition to these resources, Massachusetts residents are eligible to use resources from the Boston Public Library. If you do not already have a BPL library card you can apply for an eCard. eCards expire after 3 years unless they are upgraded to standard BPL cards.

Using your Minuteman card for access to online resources

Access to online resources provided by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners (MBLC), and the Massachusetts Library System (MLS), with funds from the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS) is available for all who live, work, and study in Massachusetts. 

Access to online resources provided by member libraries is available to residents of the 36 public library communities served by Minuteman, as well as current students, faculty and staff of the five academic libraries.

Most resources will require you to enter your Minuteman library card number for access outside the library.
