Robbins Library

The Robbins Library was dedicated on November 29, 1892. The funds for the building came as a gift to the Town of Arlington from Maria C. Robbins in memory of her husband, Eli Robbins. The Fox Branch Library, formerly known as the East Arlington Branch of the Robbins Library, was established in 1916. Today, Arlington’s libraries are vital community centers for all. We create opportunities for lifelong learning, personal fulfillment and enjoyment that make Arlington a great place to live, work, study, and visit.
